I think there should a non-20 title for pre-lvling for example.

At lvl 17 you earn Defender of ascalon (as oppose to legendary defender) or savior of ascalon

That or higher lvled in pre so we dont have to death lvl

It's a decent sujestion, but Idk maybe you could refine it a little.
Make LDOA a three teir title: r1 "Defender of ascalon" requires lvl 16 in presearing (no death leveling required), r2 "Savior of Ascalon" requires lvl18, and leave "legendary defender of ascalon", the max of the title, as is.
There's still going to be lots of people flaming "omg nub, juz farm da titlez liek da rest of us", but it's something I'd like to see personally.

edit: And to the post above me, not everyone farms titles just to get them maxed. KoaBD is not the only title track in the universe worth farming for.

ya i got to lvl 16 then stopped because i didnt wanna waste more time but of course only lvl 20's get recignition for wasting hours in there anyway titles are just to keep people addicted and it has worked lol.

If something is going to happen to this title, I want it to be the number of charr you've killed. At the moment, it's "I'm a Legendary Defender of Ascalon! I've only been killed a few million times by Moa Birds but that's irrelevant!"

The title came AFTER people already got to level20 in pre. It was about recognition, not "keeping people addicted". A title where you spend the vast majority of time logged in but afk isn't terribly good at keeping people glued to the game. Set it up, go to sleep, kill 4 Charr in the morning. Very involving.

Ah... no...

The only change LdoA nees is to vanish once you leave pre-Searing. Nothing else.

You can get to level 20 in less than 6 hours in Shing Jea, and in less than 15 hours in Istan... it's a completely different world.

You miss my point, but I'm not really surprised. My point is this: if you don't have the time or...."effort" to death level all the way up to 20 in Pre-Searing, you shouldn't get some cop-out title to make you feel better. Hitting Level 20 isn't even something you have to do before the Searing, so more than one title takes away from the "work" that others put forth to get to 20. You either get LDoA, or you go take on Doomtooth like a normal human being.

And if you believe the man is that stupid, why do you have quotes of him memorized?
